NLP Tips

NLP Tips:

I work on the basis that no school including this one has all the answers, everyday I’m learning, growing and experiencing NLP tips to share with people like you.

I want you to be the best at NLP that you can possibly be so whether you’re a beginner just starting out, a seasoned NLP practitioner or an NLP Master that’s been developing for years we hope to have NLP tips and ideas that are useful for you to.

NLP tips for the beginner:

This is about getting the basics right and to do that you first of all need to be aware of what the basics are, so here goes:

Have a plan – It’s important to first of all know where you are heading, have a sense of direction and put together a plan that will allow you to appreciate the progress or not towards it’s completion.

Take Action – Some people dream about greatness, other people talk about it, fewer still turn their dreams into reality by taking action towards their outcomes daily.

Receive Feedback – Be open to receiving feedback and using it to help develop your plan.

Be Flexible – All achievements are outcomes just not necessarily the ones you want. By developing a flexible approach in the words of Helen Keller, “you can either find a way or make one!”

NLP tips for the Practitioner:

This is about reminding practitioners about what they learned during their practitioner experience and helping you to stay on course:

Resourceful self – Getting you into the right performance state to get the job done effectively sounds obvious yet very few people remember do it! Ask yourself, what is the optimal state for me to be in right now, for me to be absolutely effective when achieving this outcome?

Resourceful client – Is my client being resourceful right now and if not what can I do to help my client obtain a more resourceful state.

Rapport – As the saying goes with sufficient rapport you can get anyone to do anything. Learn to create and deepen rapport with yourself and others.

Outcome – Set compelling outcomes for yourself, ones that by their very nature motivate you to take action.

NLP tips for the Master Practitioner:

Having studied for and gained your Masters it’s time to either use NLP or lose NLP, you decide! I sincerely hope my tips and prompts will encourage you to realise that the training only began once you left the course.

Seeing others – Cultivate a fertile mind space that allows you to see and appreciate others as they wish to be, not as they currently are.

Developing States – What are the resourceful states that you recognise are important for you to continue to build? Neurological excellence requires repetition to build and stabilise quality neurological path ways.

Sleight of mouth – Learn to use the Sleight of mouth patterns on yourself to reframe present issues and create new perspectives within.

Modelling Excellence – During the modelling process start by suspending all meaning and allow the uptake of information to be as automatic and unconscious as possible.
